Please dress appropriately - consider the following:
• Jacket
• Rain jacket & pants
• Outdoor running shoes or hiking shoes
• Wide brimmed hat
• Sunscreen
• Bug repellent or bug jacket
• Water bottle

Basic GPS Course
If you are considering purchasing a GPS, or you have one and don't know how to use it, then the Basic Course may be for you.
In this course you will join me for a 3 hour lesson on the basics of GPS navigation. Learn how to:
- pinpoint your location
- enter coordinates
- mark waypoints
- plot a course
- create routes
You will get hands-on experience outdoors with a GPS, and you will learn about the sport of Geocaching, the internet-based treasure hunting game, where you are the search engine. Discover new areas by using your GPS.
COST:
$60 per person
GPS units will be supplied for your use during the course.
I will come to a location near you to do this workshop.
